Quality Assurance Technician 3rd Shift

What You’ll Do: Responsible for monitoring, and programming critical control points (CCP), product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process. Responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required. Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and documentation. Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing. Work closely with production staff to maintain and education in the areas of sanitation, hygiene, GMP’s and other food safety guidelines. Responsible to issue disciplinary action when directed. Collect product samples for product development, lab retains, and the laboratory when directed. Perform inspections on products, equipment, and machinery. Other duties and projects as assigned by QA Management. What You’ll Need:

1. 3 years of experience in a food processing environment.
2. years of experience in a meat or poultry processing environment preferred.

Bachelor of Science degree or diploma in Microbiology or food science. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP’s, allergens, and food defense. HACCP Certification. Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication and problem-solving skills. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Flexibility and ability to work mandatory overtime and weekends as needed. The pay range for this role is $20.00- $25.00 per hour + benefits.
