WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas is located at 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231 WORK SCHEDULE: PRN I; Day shift. 1 Shift required every 6 weeks. No Weekends Cardiac Rehab Department highlights: Offers unique Nursing opportunity Will work alongside of Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians, and other Cardiovascular specific Nurses Outpatient Setting Input on creating a safe exercise routine and providing education to patient Very tight knit team

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred. 1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) or completion of an RN residency program Required; One year of Cardiac Rehab preferred; Minimum of Critical care experience One Year in Cardiac Strongly preferred Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire. BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required CCRP—Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional Preferred WHAT YOU WILL DO Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process Assesses the patient Plans the care of the patient Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers
