Cloud Platform Architect

Leading the architecture of cloud infrastructure platforms, the full-time Lead Platform Architect, Cloud will design, implement, and manage secure and scalable technology solutions while working a hybrid schedule in Richmond, Virginia. Key responsibilities Define and maintain enterprise cloud infrastructure architecture, including landing zones and shared services Lead design for complex initiatives involving cloud, network, identity, and operations while ensuring alignment with enterprise standards Mentor engineers and architects on cloud infrastructure best practices and promote reusable, automated infrastructure patterns Required qualifications 5+ years of experience as an architect and 10+ years in IT 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS and Azure Strong experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale infrastructure architectures Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure (IaaS/PaaS), networking, and identity management concepts Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Zero Trust architecture principles
