Job Title: CT Technologist (Computed Tomography)

Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 6 PM - 7 AM (Mon/Tues/Wed) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Licensed in MA Certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS Certification Must-Have: Graduate of an AMA approved educational program in Radiological Technology

Description: Follows hospital protocol for exam routines and produces quality studies in an efficient, timely manner. Is competent to operate all equipment in the department or has requested training in specific areas. Properly warms up the CT scanner and runs quality assurance. Completes CT procedures and tasks effectively and efficiently, providing appropriate feedback to patients and maintaining a clean room. Able to adjust and manipulate images to required specifications, including windowing, contrast, and algorithm adjustments. Knowledgeable in scanners, contrast injectors, PACs, and related systems. Selects proper scanning levels depending upon the field of scan and organ selected. Ensures all scans are properly identified anatomically with relevant patient information. Completes administrative tasks associated with procedures. Notifies the coordinator or delegate of any equipment malfunctions. Reports wet reading findings to physicians and nursing units as necessary. Restores prior exams for radiologists and can provide CD copies if requested. Stocks rooms and requests necessary stock orders. Maintains cleanliness and functionality of the work area. Performs clerical and other duties as necessary to maintain flow and quality expectations.
