Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled X-Ray Technician to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in an adult outpatient and acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have recent experience with general radiography and portable imaging, capable of working within a fast-paced radiology department.

Responsibilities:

• Perform adult outpatient and bedside X-ray procedures adhering to established protocols.
• Operate PACS imaging systems and other radiology equipment efficiently.
• Follow isolation precautions and utilize PPE to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Collaborate with radiology staff to meet diagnostic imaging needs within scope of practice.
• Document procedures accurately using the Allscripts charting system.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding RTO and shift scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARRT (R) certification and AHA BLS certification.
• Possess a minimum of 1 year recent X-Ray Tech experience in adult acute care and outpatient imaging.
• Demonstrate proficiency with portable/bedside imaging and PACS systems.
• Be licensed or licensed-eligible prior to start date.
• Show competence in imaging anatomy including extremities, spine, skull, chest, and abdomen.
• Be able to work standard day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) on scheduled days.
