This role combines hands-on data management with strong analytical capabilities to identify inefficiencies, resolve data issues, and improve operational processes.The position focuses on maintaining data integrity across key master data domains, including material master, vendor master, source lists, and purchasing info records—while also leveraging analytics to uncover trends, optimize workflows, and streamline manual processes.This is a strong developmental opportunity to learn how supply chain data and planning parameters directly drive business performance, including MRP stability, inventory optimization, and supplier execution.Essential Job Duties -Specific responsibilities and tasks an individual would be expected to perform in the role may shift. Additional job duties may be determined by functional managers.Execute data cleansing activities across core master data domains:Material master (planning parameters, lot sizes, procurement types, MRP fields)Vendor master and supplier recordsSource lists and purchasing info recordsBOM-related and purchasing-relevant attributes as applicableIdentify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues using established governance processes and toolsPerform ongoing data audits, validations, and exception tracking to ensure accuracy and consistency across systemsQuery, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to:Identify data inconsistencies, gaps, and errorsDetect trends and root causes of recurring issuesSupport data-driven decision makingDevelop and refine datasets used for reporting, governance, and operational executionTranslate raw data into actionable insights to support improvements in planning accuracy, procurement execution, and inventory managementIdentify opportunities to optimize, enhance, and streamline manual processes, particularly in:Data maintenance workflowsReporting and data validation processesException managementFacilitate cross-functional discussions to map current-state processes and support the development of scalable solutions (e.g., templates, standardized workflows, basic automation) to improve efficiency and consistencyPartner with stakeholders to reduce manual effort and improve data flow across systemsMaintain and update key planning parameters, including:ABC indicatorsLot sizing proceduresCoverage profilesBasic procurement and planning attributesPartner with Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain Risk teams to:Resolve data discrepanciesAlign on data definitions and requirementsSupport continuous improvement initiativesExecute transactional workflows within SAP (ECC/S4), including updates, validations, and approvalsSupport development of data quality metrics, dashboards, and basic reporting outputsTrack and communicate data quality trends, issues, and progress against remediation effortsQualificationsRequired Skills and Experience2–4 years of experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or data-focused rolesStrong analytical skillset with demonstrated ability to:Query and manipulate data (Excel required; SQL preferred)Work with large, messy, or incomplete datasetsIdentify patterns, discrepancies, and improvement opportunitiesExperience performing data cleansing, validation, and maintenance activitiesFamiliarity with ERP systems (SAP preferred), including exposure to:Material MasterVendor MasterPurchasing data structuresAbility to translate data into actionable insights, visualizations, and process improvementsStrong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and process disciplineAbility to follow structured governance processes while also identifying opportunities for improvementEffective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionallyRequired Education and Training Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related fieldWorking Conditions nonePreferred Skills and ExperienceHands-on experience with:SQL or similar querying toolsData manipulation and transformation (e.g., Excel Power Query, Alteryx, Python)Experience working with SAP master data objects, including:Material MasterVendor MasterPurchasing Info RecordsSource ListsExposure to data governance frameworks, audit processes, or workflow-based systemsExperience identifying and implementing process improvements or light automationDemonstrated interest in using data to drive operational efficiency and business outcomesAdditional InformationDue to the nature of our business and the role, please note that Intuitive and/or your customer(s) may require that you show current proof of vaccination against certain diseases including COVID-19.
