Registered NurseJob Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years PACU experience ICU level of care competency Description: This position is for a nursing role in a PACU. The unit has 18 bays and is staffed by 25 personnel. There are 11 RNs on day shifts, and 1 nurse is assigned to nights with support on-call for additional cases. The patient ratio is 1:1 for the first 30 minutes or during ICU level of care, then 2:1 when patients are stable. There are always 2 RNs present in the PACU when patients are being cared for. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech Magic. Candidates should be proactive team players. Preferred qualifications include CPAN and TCAR certifications. The schedule is Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM.
