Job Description The State of Texas is seeking a highly energetic, proactive, hands‑on Operational AI/ML Engineer to join the Traffic Technology team. This role focuses on building and deploying real‑time computer vision and traffic‑video analytics solutions to improve roadway safety and operational efficiency across Texas. Required Skills Strong hands‑on experience with computer vision Real‑time traffic camera video analytics Building AI models on video data (Traffic Vision Modules) Object detection and localization in images/videos Core tools and frameworks: OpenCV, YOLO (or similar), TensorFlow, PyTorch, Python, SQL Object detection models: YOLO, Faster R‑CNN, SSD, RetinaNet Datasets and annotation: COCO, ImageNet, custom‑labeled datasets; LabelImg, CVAT, Roboflow Cloud and MLOps: AWS (mandatory), Airflow, MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana Highly Preferred Experience Real‑time traffic video analytics Smart intersections, ITS, or Smart City initiatives Designing computer‑vision pipelines for live video streams Deploying AI models into production environments Note: The position is strictly for Operational AI/ML Engineers; Generative AI Engineers are not considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr US staffing Inc
