Anesthesiologist

Somnia Anesthesia, a physician-owned and clinician-led group, is seeking Per Diem Anesthesiologists to join their team at Island Health Hospital in Anacortes, WA. This role offers a competitive per diem rate and the opportunity to work in a Level 2 Stroke and Level 3 Trauma Center. New graduates are welcome to apply for this position in a coastal maritime city close to Seattle. Practice Info Case mix includes General, blocks, OB, Ortho, Uro, Gyn, podiatry, spines, GI, ENT, and Peds (No heads, hearts, or vascular cases). The facility has 3 ORs, 1 Endo suite, and OB coverage for 3 labor rooms. The hospital handles approximately 6,000 cases annually (Main OR: 2,803, Endo: 2,756, and OB: 438). Charting is done with Meditech Expanse EMR/EHR, with anesthesia charts on paper. Medication management/digital pharmacy uses Pyxis. Compensation Per diem rate: $3000/day Additional stipends and hourly pay for call duty (not required, but encouraged) Stipends range from up to $4800 depending on call taken Referral bonus of up to $5,000 if hired Benefits Post-call day off Shift & Schedule Call: Remote pager call.
