Manager, Damages & Valuations

About Our Damages & Valuations Team Our Damages & Valuations team comprises accountants, economists, PhDs, certified business valuators, investment analysts, and industry specialists. The team ranks #1 in the Global Arbitration Review's Expert Witness Firm Power Index for 2024 and 2025. Responsibilities Conduct economic, financial, accounting, and industry research. Analyze financial and non‑financial information, and report findings to team members. Assist in the preparation of damages, forensic accounting, and construction quantum reports. Assist in the preparation of critique reports examining conclusions of other experts. Communicate with clients and counsel. Prepare for and attend hearings, trials and mediations. Manage day‑to‑day requirements of multiple engagements. Qualifications Requisite professional designations and work experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. 4+ years of experience in economic damages and/or forensic accounting. Experience at a ‘Big Four’ accounting firm is an asset. Holder of or pursuing CPA, CFF, CFA, CFE, or ABV credentials is a plus. Strong expert report writing skills. Ability to assimilate information quickly and develop creative solutions. Strong time‑management and prioritization skills. Team‑management capabilities, including junior and senior staff. Independent work with ability to highlight key issues to senior staff. Excellent analytical and problem‑resolution abilities. Excellent listening, verbal, written, technical, and presentation skills. Desire to contribute to growth of a rapidly expanding practice. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Willing to travel as needed. Working proficiency in a second non‑English language is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship required. Compensation Pay range: $120,000 – $165,000 USD.
