Duties
Independently perform, with little or no supervision, installation access control for pedestrians and vehicles.
Validate entry requests through the use of ePACS and grants access to persons and vehicles with appropriate authorizations.
Initial point of contact for the installation's visitors which may include foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media and VIPs.
Record visitor information and purpose of visit.
Grant access to persons, denies entry or arranges for escorts, as appropriate.
Perform Visitor Control Center (VCC) duties.
Screen all employees, visitors, consultants, foreign nationals, government agents, elective officials, media representatives, VIPs and contractor personnel daily.
Serve as a member of the installation's overall security response capability during actual or simulated incidents.
Regulate pedestrian and vehicular traffic to prevent accidents and to ease congestion and parking problems.
Assist in providing initial response and traffic control for vehicular accidents, which may include providing first aid, requesting appropriate emergency responses, securing the scene and identifying witnesses.
