HireQuest Northwest is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Staffing Coordinator to join our Vancouver team on a temporary basis.

As the first point of contact for many of our workers and clients, you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience while helping keep our branch running smoothly. If you enjoy working with people, staying organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to meet you.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in staffing, recruiting, and workforce operations while working alongside an experienced team.

What You'll Do

As a Staffing Coordinator, you'll help keep the branch running efficiently by supporting both our clients and our Field Team Members (FTMs).

Front Office & Customer Service

Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in applicants and clients
Provide exceptional customer service to workers and clients
Schedule interviews and onboarding appointments
Respond to questions from Field Team Members and clients

Onboarding & Compliance

Guide new employees through the onboarding process
Verify I-9 documentation and employment paperwork
Upload and maintain employee records within company systems
Assist with background checks and compliance requirements
Ensure worker files remain complete and accurate

Staffing Support

Assist with dispatching workers to job assignments
Contact workers regarding available assignments and schedule updates
Follow up on attendance, availability, and required documentation
Help maintain a reliable workforce ready for placement

Administrative Support

Maintain accurate notes and documentation
Assist with payroll, timesheets, invoicing, and other branch administrative tasks
Support branch operations and special projects as needed

Reliable, detail-oriented, and dependable
Previous experience in customer service, staffing, recruiting, administration, or office support is preferred
