TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Zion, Illinois, 60099!

Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, 4 years preferred License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA only), OCN preferred Must-Have: - STEM cell experience is a plus, but not required - Float required (Med/Surg) - Every third weekend required - First-time travelers are accepted - Charting system experience with EPIC preferred - Certifications in ACLS and BLS required - Skills in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias - Experience in arterial line management, blood product administration, and central line care Description: ICU RN for a patient unit specialized in Stem Cell Transplant and Car-T patients. The unit has 15 rooms with an average daily census of around 7 patients. Floats will be required to the Med/Surg unit as needed. There is no on-call requirement. Required skills include interpretation of ABGs, management of ventilated patients, and care for patients on BiPAP/CPAP. Experience with chemotherapy administration, surgical wounds with drains, and infection prevention is preferred. Registered Nurses will work three nights per week with a focus on teamwork and interdisciplinary support. Candidates should have strong communication skills and be adaptable to a dynamic patient environment. No requests for time off will be accepted during specific holiday periods. All clinical staff must have a flu vaccine or a signed flu declination form during the flu season. Chemo certification is required for all nursing positions except for phone triage and case management but is encouraged.
