Title: Commissioning Engineer Salary: 110,000 – 120,000 Location: Jacksonville, FL, 50% Travel Industry: Battery Storage / Energy Storage Responsibilities Responsible for the development of Energy Storage Solutions installation and commissioning plans, including processes, procedures, work instructions and coordination with field personnel and third‑party suppliers. Liaise with Sourcing and Project Managers to ensure project commissioning requirements are met on time and within budget. Provide feedback to Quality and Engineering on issues discovered in the field, and support root‑cause analysis and corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement. Coordinate the activities for teams of Field Service Engineers, Technicians, and subcontractors who execute installation and commissioning tasks based on customer and project requirements. Create project commissioning plans in support of new ESS projects in the Americas region. Develop and maintain ESS I&C standard documentation, such as scope of work instructions, training, quality & safety requirements, etc. Select, train, and qualify sub‑contractors for I&C work scope in collaboration with the ESS Sourcing Manager. Develop request‑for‑quotation packages for sub‑contractor I&C contracts. Liaise with ESS Sourcing and Legal teams in developing I&C subcontractor contracts. Provide technical support to Field Service Technicians, Engineers, and subcontractors. Qualifications BS degree or higher in Engineering or related discipline with supporting experience demonstrating electrical controls engineering competencies. Extensive industrial experience may be considered as an alternative to a bachelor’s degree. Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience. Experience leading installation and commissioning of industrial projects in the power generation/energy field. Management of technical team. Battery product knowledge. #J-18808-Ljbffr
