Job Title: Support Coordinator – Materials Management & Transportation Location: Patuxent River, MD – 100% onsite. Applications accepted until Jun. 25, 2026. Key Responsibilities Material Handling & Inventory: Receiving, moving, storing, and inventorying parts, tools, equipment, and supplies. Logistics & Distribution: Issuing tools and materials and using hand, power, automated, and electronic equipment such as lift trucks, tugs, scooters, saws, hoists, and cranes. Production Support: Expediting and coordinating scheduled job assignments and clearing bottlenecks in the production flow. Packaging & Shipping: Packaging and shipping containers of various sizes, including proper bracing and blocking materials in transport vehicles. Data Management: Utilizing electronic systems to track inventory, process parts, and maintain accurate data regarding production work orders. Safety & Compliance: Reporting damaged, obsolete, or non-conforming tool crib items and ensuring compliance with safety, tool control, and FOD regulations. Physical Demands Limited (0‑1 hrs) crawling, lying down, forceful grasping. Occasional (1‑3 hrs) lifting, pushing, pulling up to 35 lbs; bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, reaching. Frequent (3‑6 hrs) exposure to noise. Requires eye, hearing, and personal protective equipment. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, working on ladders and elevated/uneven surfaces. Basic Qualifications (Required) 1+ year experience in inventory, stock, or supply chain. High School Diploma or GED. Preferred Qualifications Forklift Operator Experience. Experience using computers, including typing and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word). 1+ year of experience with inventory control systems and maintenance record‑keeping systems such as ERP, Ariba, CMES, Cribmaster, CTMA, and Microsoft Excel. Additional Information The selected candidate must be able to work any shift as assigned. This is an hourly position governed by the IAM 837 Collective Bargaining agreement. Travel requirement: 15%. Relocation assistance is not provided; candidate must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense. Total Rewards Pay range: $21.00 – $49.78 per hour.
