Front-End Loader Operator Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move soil, gravel, mulch, stone, sand, and other bulk materials.
• Load and unload trucks, trailers, hoppers, and storage areas efficiently.
• Transport materials throughout construction sites, landscape yards, and production facilities.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and routine preventive maintenance checks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Follow OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and job site procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, drivers, and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate production and equipment records when required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating front-end loaders, wheel loaders, skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, or other heavy construction equipment required.
• Strong understanding of heavy equipment safety procedures and job site operations.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent attention to safety, detail, and equipment care.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Experience in construction, landscaping, mining, aggregate production, or material handling preferred.
