Accounting Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed monthly ad hoc journal entries, ensuring adherence to GAAP standards.
• Perform comprehensive monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Analyze financial reserves, calculate adjustments, and recommend improvements.
• Manage accurate accounting across multiple entities on both accrual and cash basis.
• Conduct daily bank reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and document internal controls.
• Generate, review, and distribute client pre-bills and final invoices efficiently.
• Provide insights on client accruals, status updates, and budgets.
• Maintain transparent communication with stakeholders, vendors, and colleagues to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Uphold policies, controls, and procedures with consistency and professionalism.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field.
• Experience with complex accounting systems
• Solid knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
• Commitment to confidentiality and integrity.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience querying and manipulating data from business intelligence or data warehouses.
• Prior work experience in a professional services environment.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, 
• Demonstrated background in handling detailed financial reconciliation and billing processes.
