What You'll Do
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Analyze financial data and investigate account variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial accuracy
- Assist with inventory accounting and manufacturing cost analysis
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Prepare sales tax and other regulatory filings as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Collaborate with operations and other departments to support business objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing experience is a plus)
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP systems is preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
