Provide necessary physical care to appropriate patient populations which include ADL’s, positioning, transporting, and treatments Perform systematic patient and family assessment relevant to practice settings and record the related health data. Analyze and interpret recorded data. Make informed judgments as to the specific problems and elements of nursing care mandated by a particular situation. Establish professional relationships with patients and families and educate them about the patient’s illness and treatment Requirements Graduate of a state approved and/or accredited School of Nursing Current license to practice professional nursing from the Massachusetts Board of Registration BLS certification with American Heart Association Acute care medical-surgical experience Medical Office experience preferred Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in providing physical care, performing patient assessments, and establishing professional relationships with patients and families.
