NEW GRADS WELCOME! We are seeking a dedicated Banking Processor to join our financial services team. This role involves managing various banking transactions, ensuring accuracy in processing deposits, withdrawals, and loan activities, and maintaining excellent customer service standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of banking operations, financial software, and customer relationship management. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless banking operations while supporting clients’ financial needs through precise processing and proactive relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Process a variety of banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle loan origination procedures by collecting necessary documentation and entering data into financial software systems
• Manage cash handling duties such as balancing cash drawers, reconciling cash accounts, and ensuring proper debits and credits
• Assist customers with account inquiries, providing clear information on banking products and services
• Detect and prevent potential fraud activities by monitoring account activity and implementing security protocols
• Support upselling efforts by identifying customer needs for additional banking products or services
• Maintain detailed records of all transactions, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies
• Collaborate with relationship managers to enhance customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem resolution

Qualifications

• Proven experience in banking operations, financial sales, or related roles within the financial services industry
• Strong knowledge of cash management, cashiering procedures, and retail math principles
• Familiarity with financial software platforms used for transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage relationships professionally
• Basic math skills including debits & credits, 10 key typing proficiency, and general ledger understanding
• Ability to identify fraud risks and apply appropriate detection techniques
• Effective communication skills to interact with diverse clients and team members
• Prior experience in loan processing or related financial activities is preferred but not required
