We are looking for a highly experienced Branch Processor to join our Lake in the Hills branch!

The Branch Processor is responsible for the end-to-end processing of loan applications. You will own the file from the moment the contract is received until the loan successfully closes, analyzing creditworthiness, reviewing AUS guidelines, and managing the documentation flow.

How you will contribute:

• Take full ownership of the file, ensuring a seamless transition through every milestone until funding.
• Compile financial data and essential documentation to construct a comprehensive loan package.
• Evaluate applications, assess borrower creditworthiness, and meticulously review title commitments and fees.
• Navigate AUS/Guidelines with precision to meet all mortgage lending and investor standards.
• Ensure 100% file completeness before submission to Underwriting, escalating complex files for further evaluation when necessary.
• Provide a white-glove service experience to borrowers.
• Act as the central point of contact between all parties to resolve documentation gaps and keep the processing moving.
• Record and track loan statuses, managing approvals, cancellations, and denials with close attention to detail.

Experience and Expertise:

• 10+ years of experience in mortgage lending, specifically within the processing function.
• Hands-on experience with Encompass360.
• Deep understanding of Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Bond Loans.
• Proven track record of managing the entire loan process lifecycle and an understanding of escrow, taxes, title commitments, and insurance.
• You excel in fast-paced environments and can juggle multiple projects.

Location:

• Work from home the majority of the week, then join us in the office on Tuesdays for a day dedicated to team collaboration and cross-departmental partnership.

Pay starts at $31.25/hour, with the final rate based on depth of experience and branch performance.
