Shift Type: Day shift, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Bill Rate: $40 - $52/hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive initial evaluations of residents to identify physical limitations and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic exercises and interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and occupational therapists to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on safe mobility techniques, fall prevention, and home exercise programs.
- Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
- Advocate for each resident's goals and celebrate their progress, fostering a positive and motivating rehabilitation environment.
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Pennsylvania (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (new graduates are welcome to apply!).
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, geriatric rehab, or outpatient orthopedics is a plus, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

- Patient assessment and functional mobility evaluation
- Therapeutic exercise prescription and implementation
- Manual therapy and balance/fall prevention techniques
- Clinical documentation and care planning
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Ability to adapt treatment plans to diverse patient needs
