Electro‑Mechanical Build Technician — Nitrogen Generation Platforms

Potter Electric Signal is growing and seeking an Electro‑Mechanical Build Technician to assemble, test, troubleshoot, and inspect nitrogen generation platforms and related equipment. Pride in quality and safety is non‑negotiable here—our products are built for life safety.

Your impact

• Assemble nitrogen systems, components, and subassemblies guided by blueprints, wiring diagrams, and detailed work instructions.
• Perform mechanical builds alongside electrical wiring, tubing, and pneumatic integration.
• Install and neatly route harnesses; integrate sensors, switches, relays, and control elements.
• Conduct functional verification, including purity and leak testing; troubleshoot to restore performance.
• Inspect incoming parts and completed assemblies for conformance to specifications and quality standards.
• Surface and communicate issues to production leadership and engineering for rapid resolution.
• Capture accurate production data and inspection results.

Work environment & tools

• Use hand tools (pliers, screwdrivers, wrenches, self‑tapping wrenches) and power tools; air drivers torqued between 3–55 in/lbs.
• Repetitively handle parts weighing 1–10 lbs.; team lift components over 25 lbs.
• Complete packing: carton loading, auto tape dispensers, and preparation of large crates.
• Move pallets of finished parts with a pallet jack (approximately 42–900 lbs.).
• Perform accurate computer entries where required and follow written operation manuals.
