Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy

Overview Sentara Obici Hospital in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring an Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a full‑time day shift position with required call. This role will work directly with the physician during procedures. Procedural experience preferred. Location: Suffolk, VA. Shift: Day shift (7:00 AM–3:00 PM, Monday–Friday). Hours: 5 eight‑hour shifts per week. Must be within 30–45 minutes of the hospital location for call. Call requirement: 20 days per month (on‑call with weekdays 3:00 PM–7:00 AM and alternating weekend coverage). Responsibilities The RN is responsible for providing competent nursing care using the critical thinking model—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation, coordination of care, teaching, health promotion, and evaluation—and for meeting standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence‑based practice, quality, resource utilization, environmental health).
