Medical Science Liaison - Great Lakes

For our client, we are seeking a Medical Science Liaison - Great Lakes to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will provide business‑aligned guidance focused on governance, compliance, and operational risk management. You will partner with leaders, compliance stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to translate complex issues into practical recommendations. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen responsible execution, improve decision‑making, and support sustainable growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment. Location: Columbus, OH - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $205,000 – $225,000 annually Responsibilities Serve as the primary interface with clinical trial sites for high‑quality study execution Develop expertise in therapeutic areas, notably inflammatory bowel disease Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical investigators Provide scientific support to cross‑functional teams across all levels Ensure compliance with ethical standards and regulations Qualifications Master's degree with medical credential (NP, RN, PA) required; terminal degree (PharmD, PhD) preferred 2‑3 years of MSL experience required Prior experience in drug pre‑approval (pre‑PDUFA) settings is mandatory Experience in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD)/GI or immunology is strongly preferred Strong communication skills for presenting medical/scientific information Excellent relationship‑building and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and digital meeting platforms Benefits Generous PTO and paid holidays 401K, medical, dental, vision coverage Company‑funded wellness program Long term/short term disability and life insurance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
