Truck Shop MechanicThis position is responsible for maintenance and preventative maintenance on trucks and trailers while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.Applicants will be considered for any Truck Shop Mechanic opening. This position requires a current valid State driver's license. Must supply own tools for minimum maintenance. Must be able to use basic electrical, pneumatic and hand tools. May perform air brake, electrical and air conditioning work. Must have ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders up to 20 feet, bend, stretch, reach, work in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors. Must be able to read and understand assignments. Must be able to communicate both orally and in writing. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
