Location: Global • Department: Galley Overview As the Chef de Partie Pizza, you will oversee Neapolitan-style pizza production aboard the ship, delivering high-quality pizzas and ensuring consistency with company recipes and preparation methods. You will lead and train kitchen staff, monitor ingredient usage, minimize waste, and support budget and cost targets in the pizzeria under the direction of the Chief Baker and Executive Chef. Key Responsibilities Delight passengers by delivering the best Neapolitan-style pizza at sea, including traditional Margherita and Pepperoni and daily specials. Supervise the Demi Chef De Partie Pizza and Commis Chef during baking and mise-en-place; provide training and coaching as needed. Ensure pizza recipes are maintained and accessible to assigned staff. Monitor ingredient usage, minimize food waste, plan orders, and inform the Executive Chef of fluctuations. Assist in managing the pizza department budget and achieve cost targets as directed. Continuously improve production methods, culinary techniques, menu knowledge, and presentation of pizza products. Observe performance, mentor top performers for career advancement, and train staff in production methods and baking techniques. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pizzaiolo in high-volume handmade pizza production. Formal Pizzaiolo certification (preferred). Solid knowledge of the Neapolitan pizza process, dough preparation, baking techniques, and toppings. Knowledge of various pizza styles, from traditional Margherita and Pepperoni to specialty pizzas. Good English language skills, both verbal and written. Understanding of guest service fundamentals and the ability to deliver outstanding service. Strong communication, teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude. Willingness to work in a diverse, international environment and maintain professional relationships.
