Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our team in the role of Manager-Deputy Chief of Police.Candidate QualificationsCandidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.Requires 4 years of people leader experience.Comprehensive background in supervision required.Requires previous successful completion of the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy Tier I or Tier II training or equivalent.Requires current non-restricted Indiana Driver's License.Requires knowledge of computers and various software programs.Must be able to pass a pre-employment background investigation, drug screening and psychological exam.Requires successful completion of Firearms Proficiency Test with continuous requalification on a semi-annual basis.Must be able to obtain NCIC/IDACS access.Have never had law enforcement officer license denied by final order or revoked.Not currently on suspension or have a voluntary surrender of a law enforcement license currently in effect.ResponsibilitiesConnect to Promise - Demonstrates a commitment to IU Health's mission, vision, and values by exhibiting behaviors and delivering results that align with the strategic direction of the organization.
