Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant
Carle Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our growing Hospitalist Team at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Dedicated team of APPs that collaborate with Hospitalist physicians to care for observation and inpatient hospital patients.
- 12-hour shifts
- Mostly day / evening (7a-7p) shift hours
- 4 weekend shifts per 4-week blocks
- 3 holidays per year
Educational/Experience Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing (ACNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant
- At least 2 years of APP experience required
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must satisfactorily complete all continuing education including NIH Stroke Scale certification regarding the care of acute stroke patients
