This full-time role is pivotal in helping our patients regain mobility and enhance their quality of life. As a Physical Therapist, you will engage in comprehensive patient care that includes promotion, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support as patients work towards their personal health goals.

Work Environment

The work setting for this role is entirely onsite, allowing for direct interaction with patients and continuous collaboration with a talented team of healthcare professionals. The office fosters a collegial atmosphere, with teamwork and mutual respect among staff being fundamental to our practice. Our schedule is structured from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, providing a consistent and balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and identify the unique objectives and requirements of each patient in a healthcare environment, ensuring personalized care plans.
• Efficiently manage a workload of one patient per hour, providing focused and individualized treatment.
• Administer treatment modalities that utilize evidence-based practices to aid in rehabilitation and maximize functional abilities.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescriptions.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, promoting persistence and engagement through transparent communication of goals and progress.
• Actively collaborate with other healthcare professionals, providing insights from physical therapy to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document all services and interventions thoroughly, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and seamless patient care continuity.
• Monitor patient progress closely, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and maintaining open communication with patients regarding their development and goals.
• Promote wellness by advising patients on lifestyle changes that enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals with orthopedic conditions who seek physical therapy services to recover and improve their function. On a daily basis, you will provide care to a diverse array of patients, tailoring your interventions to cater to their specific health needs and rehabilitation goals. Your work directly contributes to enhancing their quality of life and reducing the likelihood of surgical interventions.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Current certification and active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• A clean professional record, free from board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop and implement effective exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using EMR software platforms, specifically WebPT, to manage patient records and treatment plans efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated skills in designing personalized fitness and wellness programs.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment that emphasizes collaborative patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement savings plans, and continuing education opportunities.
