Job Description

• Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' unique needs and craft individualized therapy strategies to assist them in meeting their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based interventions to enhance patients' physical abilities, cognitive functions, and activities of daily living
• Collaborate with Diverse Professionals: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, well-rounded care
• Educate Patients and Families: Equip patients and their families with knowledge and skills to support ongoing recovery at home
• Track Progress and Adapt Plans: Measure clinical outcomes and refine treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patient goals are met

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Opportunities for continuing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
