What You'll Do & Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident trust accounts, and collection activities.
- Oversee Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance billing, and other reimbursement processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Maintain resident financial records and personnel documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare reports, reconcile accounts, and support month-end business office functions.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality standards, and all applicable federal and state regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a Business Office Manager, healthcare billing, accounting, or administrative leadership role preferred.
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance billing, accounts payable, and collections.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with computer systems, financial software, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
