RN - PACU/Pre-Post Op

Registered Nurse (RN) - Pre-OpWe are seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Pre-Operative care. This role involves providing high-quality nursing care to assigned patients through the nursing process, which includes assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Key Responsibilities:Perform pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.Collaborate with surgical teams and provide ongoing patient education regarding procedures and recovery.Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and any changes in condition.Ensure compliance with nursing standards and state regulations.Participate in on-call shifts as required.Scheduling and On-Call Requirements:Full-time day shift with on-call responsibilities subject to change.Current on-call requirements may include two weeknights, one Friday, and two 24-hour weekend shifts every four weeks for surgical calls.PACU on-call requirement includes one weeknight, one Friday night, and two weekend shifts per month.Ambulatory on-call includes one Friday night and two weekend shifts per month.Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing from an accredited nursing school is required.Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.Hospital experience within the past five years is preferred.Must possess a current registered nurse license in Kansas.Basic Life Support certification from either the American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Healthcare Provider or the American Heart Association-Health Care Provider must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.Benefits:The position offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including:Earned Time Off and Extended Illness BankMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceGroup Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment InsuranceRetirement Plan (401k)Tuition Assistance and Student Loan Forgiveness ProgramHoliday Pay and Flexible Spending AccountsShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityWellness Program and Employee Assistance ProgramLeadership Growth OpportunitiesOn-site Fitness Center and Free Sleeping RoomsNurse Residency ProgramJoin us in a rewarding nursing role that emphasizes patient care and professional development!
