Security Researcher

Seeking a remote Security Researcher, the full-time role focuses on hands-on research into Active Directory and Entra ID security, identifying misconfigurations and attack techniques while building proof-of-concept exploits and collaborating with product teams. Key responsibilities Conduct hands-on research into Active Directory, Windows, and Entra ID, identifying misconfigurations and privilege escalation paths Build proof-of-concept exploits and testing methodologies to validate research findings, utilizing AI tools to enhance research efficiency Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate research into product improvements and contribute to technical write-ups for the Netwrix Blog and Attack Catalog Required qualifications 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in security research, red teaming, penetration testing, or related identity security roles Working knowledge of common Active Directory/Entra ID misconfigurations and attack techniques Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (C#, PowerShell, Python, etc.) Experience using AI tools to automate analysis and develop proof-of-concept exploits Able to work cross-functionally with engineering and product teams
