Responsibilities
Prepare and file company taxes for tech startup
Analyze financial records and understand tech startup needs
Provide tax-saving strategies tailored to tech industry
Ensure compliance with tech-related tax laws
Offer specialized tax advice for tech startups
Assist with R&D tax credits and incentives
Navigate equity and stock option taxation
Manage state-specific tax incentives for technology companies
Handle international taxation if operating globally
Understand and apply tax benefits related to startup expenses
Collaborate with legal teams on intellectual property taxation
Advise on sales and use tax for software and digital products
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
Minimum 3 years of tax accounting experience, with at least 1-2 years in the tech startup sector
Knowledge of tax software and tools used in the tech industry
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations specific to tech startups
Proven track record of working with tech startups
