This full-time, on-site NETA Technician Level 2-4 role is based remote, no need to move. The technician is responsible for performing field testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical power distribution equipment, including switchgear, transformers, protective relays, circuit breakers, and associated systems.

Day-to-day activities include executing NETA-compliant test procedures, gathering and analyzing test data, documenting results and deficiencies, and preparing clear, accurate reports. The role collaborates with engineers and project managers to support troubleshooting, corrective actions, and power system studies, while adhering to safety standards and client-specific requirements. The technician interacts directly with clients on-site, helping plan work, coordinate outages, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality expectations.

Qualifications

• NETA certification at Level 2-4 or equivalent field experience in electrical power systems testing and commissioning.

• Hands-on experience with acceptance and maintenance testing of electrical equipment such as switchgear, transformers, breakers, relays, and cabling.

• Proficiency with test equipment and tools (e.g., insulation resistance testers, relay test sets, power quality analyzers, primary and secondary injection equipment).

• Strong understanding of NFPA, OSHA, NETA, and related industry standards, with a commitment to electrical safety and safe work practices.

• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

• Effective documentation and reporting skills, including accurate data collection, test forms, and clear written communication.

• Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities for electrical system issues in mission-critical and high-reliability environments.

• Ability to work on-site in Parker, CO, including occasional overtime, weekend work, and travel to client locations as project needs require.

• Strong teamwork and customer service orientation, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and internal project teams.

• Relevant technical education such as a vocational certificate, associate degree in electrical technology, or equivalent military/industry training; bachelor's degree in an engineering field is a plus.
