Machine Maintenance Technician

Location: Greenville, MI Shift: 2nd Shift Pay: $20.40 per hour

Job Summary

Are you mechanically inclined with electrical experience and looking to grow your career in industrial maintenance? We're seeking a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team in Greenville, MI. In this role, you'll assist with diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment while performing routine maintenance and supporting the installation of new machinery.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Machine Maintenance Technician, your core responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance & Repairs: Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues on production equipment and perform routine maintenance, including lubrication, inspections, and cleaning.
• Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical systems and logic controllers while using tools such as an ohmmeter to diagnose electrical problems.
• Equipment Support: Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery and equipment while learning to read equipment manuals, blueprints, and electrical schematics.

In addition, you will maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs, and follow all company safety protocols and procedures.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• Previous machine maintenance or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Electrical experience required.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to learn to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Familiarity with tools such as an ohmmeter preferred.
• Basic understanding of logic controllers and mechanical systems preferred.
