Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed hospital-based Emergency Department with patient ratios that vary based on acuity, typically 4:1
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, EKG, Foley catheterization, splinting, wound infiltration, wound care, medication administration, and patient assessments
• Operate and utilize unit equipment including LifePak, Lucas, Philips, and GE devices
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate within a teamwork-oriented environment alongside a seasoned, positive-culture staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• PALS certification required
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification required
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification required
• CPI Blue Card required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large hospital setting
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
