We are a local family-owned company currently seeking cashiers to work in our retail garden shop and provide excellent customer service. Cashiers are usually the first and last employee customers interact with. They set the tone for the shopping experience and are the last impression on every guest. Candidates should demonstrate a desire to learn, have a positive attitude, and the ability to work in a team environment. Responsibilities Greet every customer and provide assistance when necessary. Answering phones in a friendly manner and directing calls using a multi-line system. Process transactions, collect payments, and make change using a POS equipment. Promote special events, sales, etc. Assist with pricing, stocking, and merchandising product. Daily housekeeping duties to ensure the store is neat and welcoming. Other projects and tasks as needed (ex. watering plants).
