Location: Gastonia, NC

1st shift (7:00am/3:30pm) $18.50 for 2nd shift (1:00pm/9:30pm) $18.50 + $1.50 (2nd shift incentive)

We are looking for forklift operators immediately for 1st & 2nd shift. Must have experience with sit-down, stand up, reach truck and cherry picker. Must be able to work extended hours and some weekends are required.

Responsibilities

Safely operate various types of forklifts, including sit-down and reach forklifts, to transport, lift, and store materials. Put away received products into designated racks and storage locations according to company procedures. Use warehouse management systems (WMS) to follow directed tasking for putaway and other inventory movements. Inspect products for damage, shortages, or quality issues before and after moving them. Replenish products to pick locations from reserve areas as directed. Physically move items onto forks, ensuring loads are centered and stable for safe transport. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the putaway and storage areas. Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance, such as recharging or refueling, and report any faulty equipment or safety hazards to a supervisor. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including stacking heavier items on the bottom of a multi-pallet load. Verify incoming shipments, compare quantities on paperwork with received items, and check lot codes. Assist with other warehouse functions as needed, which may include picking orders, staging, and shipping.
