Part-Time Reserve Officer

Job Title Part‑Time Reserve Officer Hours Various shift assignments day, evening, weekends. Pay $15.00 per hour for parade duty. $15.00 per hour for special event and crowd control functions. Training and ride‑along duty not compensated. Major Duties Attend training as set forth by the Department. Attend department meetings. Direct traffic for parade and car show events. Perform foot patrols and crowd control functions. Volunteer for a minimum 1 four‑hour ride‑along per month. Minimum Requirements Applicants must be 18 years old. High school diploma. Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License. No Felony Convictions. Possess a strong community‑oriented service philosophy. Self‑motivated. Ability to promote a positive image in performing community‑related police support functions. Good physical condition. Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. Ability to work varying shift assignments. Possess good oral and written communication skills. Written application, oral interview, background investigation. Health and psychological screening.
