Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant (MA-C) plays a vital role in outpatient cardiology clinics by providing clinical support including rooming patients, preparing charts, and handling patient communications. This role requires proficiency in healthcare terminology, Epic charting system, and strong organizational skills to ensure smooth patient flow and effective collaboration with clinical staff. Reliable transportation and adherence to scheduling and attendance policies are essential. Responsibilities:

Room patients and prepare charts for clinical visits. Answer patient questions via phone and electronic patient portal (MyChart). Process patient paperwork as needed. Assist clinicians by performing tasks within scope to support patient care and clinic operations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic electronic medical record system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality patient care. Required Skills & Certifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) credential (MA-R not accepted). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum 6 months experience in healthcare or medical assistant role. Proficiency with Epic electronic medical record system. Knowledge of healthcare terminology and outpatient clinic procedures. Reliable personal transportation. Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience in adult outpatient cardiology clinics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment. Special Considerations:

Locals only with reliable transportation required for travel to clinic locations. No on-call duties required. Strict adherence to attendance and interview availability policies; no call no show will result in disqualification from future positions. Scheduling:

Full-time schedule, 5 days per week, 8-hour day shifts. Weekend work is not required. Shift assignments and return-to-office policies to be confirmed with hiring manager.
