About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to serve as a strategic business partner to the leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and enforcing HR policies, procedures, and best practices that are value-focused, legally compliant, and aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role involves providing guidance and leadership to the HR team, collaborating on HR, compensation, staffing, and benefits issues, and ensuring the company's long-term mission and goals are supported through talent management. The VP of HR will also be involved in legal compliance, managing the departmental budget, and overseeing the development and implementation of HR programs that drive long-term business results. Applicants for the Vice President of Human Resources position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' HR experience, with at least 3 years' in a people management role, and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A Master's degree and SHRM certification are preferred. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in manufacturing, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a proven track record of developing and implementing HR strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills, and be adept at managing multiple priorities with precision. Experience with HR information systems and a thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations are essential.
