Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring Boot Microservices, and database development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable, high-performance enterprise applications. Experience with Azure Cloud technologies is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using Core Java and Spring Boot Microservices.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, DevOps, and QA teams.
• Follow Agile development methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and application modernization initiatives.

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
• Proven experience building cloud-ready, distributed systems and microservices.

Required Technical Skills

Core Java: Strong understanding of Java fundamentals, OOP concepts, Collections, Multithreading, Concurrency, Exception Handling, JVM, and Performance Tuning. Experience with Java 8+ features including Streams, Lambda Expressions, and Functional Programming.

Spring Ecosystem: Hands-on expertise with: Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA/Hibernate, Spring Security, Spring Cloud Microservices.

Design and development of Microservices-based architectures. REST API design and implementation. Service communication patterns, resiliency, fault tolerance, and distributed system concepts.

Databases: Strong experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server. Expertise in SQL, schema design, query optimization, stored procedures, and performance tuning.

DevOps Tools: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, SonarQube. Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or Azure Service Bus.
• Exposure to API Gateway and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms.
• Knowledge of security best practices and OAuth/JWT authentication.
• Exposure to Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure App Services, Azure DevOps, and Azure Key Vault. Experience building and deploying cloud-native applications on Azure is a plus.
