We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Shipping & Receiving / Delivery Driver to join our team. In this dual role you will manage inbound and outbound shipments at our warehouse/facility and make timely local deliveries. If you take pride in accurate paperwork, careful handling of goods, and professional customer service on the road, we’d like to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Receive, inspect, unload, and accurately document incoming shipments
• Prepare, pack, label, and load outgoing orders for delivery or carrier pickup
• Perform local deliveries of products or materials to customers or job sites
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, obtain signatures, and handle basic paperwork or electronic POD (proof of delivery)
• Keep the shipping/receiving area organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards
• Communicate professionally with warehouse staff, dispatch, and customers
• Follow all company, DOT, and safety policies
Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in a physically active environment
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous shipping/receiving, warehouse, or delivery experience
• Familiarity with shipping software (e.g., UPS, FedEx, or internal systems)
• Knowledge of basic inventory control practices
