Industrial Repair Technician

Wabash Valley Motor and Machine has been in business for over 25 years, serving customers throughout Indiana and Illinois. We serve customers in many different industries from healthcare, production plants, quarries to the power generation industry, and more.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable Transportation
• Ability to learn new skills
• Ability to use basic measuring instruments: e.g., tape measure, calipers, and mics

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electric motors, pumps, and gearboxes for faults and damages
• Disassemble and inspect components for repair
• Measure bearing fits and inspect sealing surfaces
• Record findings and suggest steps for repair
• Clean and paint components for assembly
• Reassemble machinery, ensuring all components are aligned and correct
• Perform final testing and quality control
• Document all repairs and maintain accurate records
• Machining and welding will be required
• Other responsibilities as they arise
