As a scratch-made kitchen with a passion for innovation and flavor, we offer custom cakes, wedding designs, and other artistic confections with a twist.If you have an eye for detail, a steady hand for piping, leadership skills, and the creativity to transform simple ingredients into show-stopping cakes, this role is for you!Job Responsibilities:Design & Decorate: Create high-quality cakes and other pastries using buttercream, flowers, airbrushing, and other decorating techniques.Custom Orders: Consult with clients to design personalized cakes for weddings, birthdays, special occasions and other catering projects. Be a part of the delivery team as required for certain orders.Lead & Train: Oversee a team of decorators, providing guidance and mentorship to maintain the highest quality standards.Quality Control: Ensure all cakes meet both aesthetic and taste standards before they leave the kitchen.Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of cake trends and develop new, unique designs for seasonal offerings.Inventory & Ordering: Manage decorating supplies including colors and specialty tools.Efficiency & Time Management: Maintain a well-organized production schedule to meet order deadlines.Collaboration: Work closely with the bakery team to ensure seamless production from baking to final presentation.Why Twist?We know you have choices when it comes to where you work.
