Therapist - Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Evaluate patients speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs.
  
  
• 
  Conduct modified barium swallow studies and FEES assessments when applicable.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and communication techniques.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Possess at least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital environment.
  
  
• 
  Hold current licensure and credentials as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in performing modified barium swallow studies and FEES.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  
  
• 
  Have the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
