Turn broad, conceptual ideas into practical experiences used by billions of users. Create flows and interfaces that simplify complex actions into intuitive, usable experiences. Design new experiences or layouts that evolve and define visual systems. Explore AI driven opportunities to enable new capabilities, personalization, or value for users. Contribute to strategic decisions about the future direction of Instagram products. Provide and receive feedback within the design and product teams to raise quality, while mentoring others. Lead cross-functional partnerships with product managers, engineers, researchers, and content strategists to supervise the user experience from concept to launch. Champion design craft and uplift the team's work by influencing how others design. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field 8+ years of product design experience with demonstrated impact on consumer products at scale A portfolio showing end-to-end ownership of complex, multi-surface product experiences Experience leading end-to-end development efforts, driving progress with Cross Functional Partner teams, developing design roadmaps, and making high-impact decisions balancing user needs with business growth objectives Expertise in advanced prototyping techniques, such as creating functional prototypes or using emerging technologies Comfort with data, using metrics, research, and experimentation to inform and validate design decisions About Meta Meta builds technologies that help people connect, form communities, and grow businesses.
