Position Overview
Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Cherry Picker Operator (Order Picker) to support our warehouse and shipping operations. This role is responsible for safely operating equipment to pick, move, and organize inventory in a fast-paced environment.
This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates with experience operating cherry picker forklifts.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday - 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime may be required based on business needs)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker / order picker forklift to retrieve and store inventory
- Pick orders accurately using pick tickets or warehouse systems
- Perform inventory movements and assist with stock organization
- Use RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS), if applicable
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and follow all safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed
Qualifications
- Experience operating a cherry picker or order picker forklift required*
- Cherry picker certification required or recent experience operating one (certification can be verified or renewed upon hire)*
- Comfortable working at heights
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
- Comfortable working at heights
Compensation & Benefits
- Weekly pay
- Pay based on experience ranging from $16.00-$19.00/hour
